What better to do on a hot summer day then go to the local zoo? (ok, other then swimming, boating, fishing, anything that would involve water). After a non-nap for Ethan, I packed up both kids, stopped at the parents' house and drove up to the zoo.
Ethan's getting a little better at looking at the animals, but he still prefers the rides, benches, ATV displays, anything that doesn't move.
Lucy slept the whole time, strapped into her baby bjorn carrier.
E did like the fish that were in with the bear display. That's Daddy's boy there.
At the end of the day, we took the Skyride up the mountain. Ethan loved it, I did not. I've never been afraid of heights but for some reason I did not enjoy this ride. The top was beautiful though.
