Holy Crap That's A Lot of Pictures!

I'm not sure whether to say I'm sorry or you're welcome, here's a lot of pictures from our trip to Florida.

As you should know by now, we love Florida. Mike's parents (otherwise known as New Mama and Stinky Pops), sister and brother in law (Aunt Teenie Weanie and Uncle Jamie) and our GORGEOUS nieces (Madalyn and Mirabelle) live in Sarasota. It is quite fortunate for us, we have a place to stay in a beautiful city with fantastic beaches. The kids have playmates and we get to hang out with family, not too shabby. Last we went to visit the Sarasotians Aunt Teenie Weanie and myself were in our third trimester of pregnancy with our second children. Also meaning, we had yet to meet each others youngest babies (that are a mere 2 weeks apart). Also, also meaning, we formed a very serious connection over pregnancy stuff and were dying to see each other. Ok, let's get on with it.
Started our trip with a night in a hotel, fabulous way to start a trip. Good hotel, great (upgraded) room. Eat, swam, slept, yes the kids slept. Took the shuttle to the airport. Worst part of the trip, waiting for security at the airport. Boarding the plane, the captains asked E to go into the cockpit, out of all the kids, he was the only one that they asked to go in. Funny thing, we had the same crew on the way home and they had him come in again!
3.5 hour flight later. FLORIDA!! Backtrack, flight was good, both kiddos got restless but after a few trips down the aisle and some snacks they were fine. To our benefit, we weren't "that" family but there was "that" family on both of our flights, there and back. After the flight we just hung out at the house, introduced the babies, let the kids get acquainted, you know the first day stuff
Day 2, to the BEACH!! Madalyn would exclaim that in a way that stuck with E, he still says it and we sure don't have a beach to go to.
The beach was a huge success, Lucy loved all of it except when the waves would wash over her.

Day 3, afternoon. DISNEYWORLD!!! 3 hour drive up. The plan was downtown Disney in the afternoon, stay in a hotel, Magic Kingdom the next day, stay in the hotel and then Seaworld the following day. The dilemma, we had 4 kids under the age of 5, it was May in FL, this could be a disaster.

Both pictures they mirror each other

She pulled every stuffed animal/princess off the shelf that I would let her.
Day 1 in Disney, done, the drive went well, downtown Disney was a blast. We even took home a new theme song for the trip "the pizza hut, the pizza hut..." it's catchy.

The ears did not last long, thank goodness I made them and didn't spend money on them
 Parade in Magic Kingdom

Buzz Lightyear (1 of 4 times on this ride)

Watching the boys drive the race cars

Space Orbiter, look at Aunt Teenie Weanie, waaaayyyy down there

Lucy fell asleep on the people mover
 Sword and the stone

Magic Kingdom, another success. We hit it on just the right day, the lines were at most 20 minutes, we did most rides twice and the heat was not too bad. Ethan LOVED Splash Mountain, which surprised me. Lucy went on a few rides and we all survived the fire works. All four kids were passed out by the time we left.
Started Sea World with a nap

Sting rays, they didn't touch them but got close

Sea World was not as good as Magic Kingdom, but with a name like that, who could compete. We were all pretty beat, the heat was worse and so were the crowds. But we had fun and E got to do another roller coaster that he still talks about.

We spent a lot of time in the pool
Doing lots of jumps and swimming

The kids kind of paired off, these two were pretty mischievous, but so were the other. It was such a relief that they all got along. They kept each other busy, so we got to relax.
Poor Misty didn't get to relax, the girls took turns picking her up

The Florida girls are beach babies, both of them just went right for the water.

We took the opportunity to celebrate Lucy and Mirabelle's first birthdays, with smash cakes.

Lucy was a natural, Mirabelle wasn't as into it
next thing we knew these two were digging into the frosting of the other cake

Eh, it's vacation, let them get messy

One last trip to the beach, and home.
Is it time to go back yet??
