Taste of Spring

Here in Colorado, we acknowledge the fact that spring is short, often confused with late winter. So we enjoy what we can of the warm weather when it comes, knowing that snow will most likely soon follow. Last week we had three days, three beautiful, warm days! Followed by two days of nearly freezing temperatures with a few scattered inches of snow. Here are a few pictures from our luxurious three days of spring:

I think of these two pictures as "Conquering Fear," yes I named them. When we first got to the park, Ethan was curious about this bridge but wouldn't cross it by himself, not even with my hand, daddy had to get up and go with him. By the end, as you can see, he did it!

This slide is another conquered fear, last summer he wouldn't go down it alone, this year all he wants to do is climb the ladder and go down the slide, repeat
