Pumpkins, Doorways and Ball Games

Although this looks like a gigantic, fake walnut, it is in fact a humongous pumpkin (over 1000 pounds!). It was at the garden center we stopped at for some winterazation mulch. Ethan didn't care too much for sitting on it, but hey it's like when you take a road trip and see the biggest ball of twine, you've gotta get a picture. We have a pumpkin growing in our backyard that is not nearly the size of this one, but it's not too shabby either. It's about the medium size that you can get at the grocery store. We're still waiting for it to turn from green to orange.

Ethan likes to walk along this fence, it's a small ledge and he's becoming a coordination pro. Michael sings him the Mission Impossible song (I made up words) when he's scaling the fence. He also likes to walk on the ledge around the sand box like it was a balance beam.
Can you believe these came from my mom's garden? I know, she's crafty and has a green thumb, not fair.
Taking our picture, it came out blurry, then Ethan took the camera:

What's behind door # 1? A new thing Ethan learned that makes me a little nervous, is how to open the doors at our house. The front door's a little hard to open (even for some adults) so we're still safe, but it won't be long
Boo!! He usually has a much more excited look on his face when he accomplishes this task
Ethan learned a new song!!!
