After our exciting adventure with the sprinkler (and a little dinner) we headed downtown to watch the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade. It was nothing too fancy but Ethan seemed to enjoy it.
Unfortunately we were running on a 45 minute nap so we knew we wouldn't be able to stay too long. We tried to get another nap in but he couldn't sleep. We watched the parade for about a 1/2 hour and then I got these faces in this pic and knew it was time to go:
I think Ethan enjoyed running the sidewalks of downtown more than the parade itself

While running down the sidewalk we encountered a little bit of uneven pavement and Ethan went down (luckily we were very close to the car)
and we were done:
He slept very well that night and his knee is healing very nicely. First of many scrapped knees if he's like his Mama.
