Happy 4th of July

I'm positive that needed to be the first picture of this blog. One of Ethan's many faces that crack us up.
Michael and I both worked yesterday (the 4th) but lucky for us, the owner of La Z Boy decided it would be a great idea to call up a local radio station, do some on site advertising, and oh yeah saw apart 3 chairs. The demonstration is called 'La Z Boy vs. Brand X'. Michael and the warehouse manager went down to a local big name furniture company and bought 3 not La Z Boy recliners. Then on Saturday Michael got to saw them apart to show why a LZB is better. Once I get the link to the video I'll post it.
Ethan and I stayed with Auntie for most of the first chair demo but had to head home due to Ethan REALLY wanting to help Daddy with the power tools. Once home he was quite content with his Little People Noah's Ark set.
After all his hard work (I should say play) Michael came home and we headed to my parents for dinner. Ethan took Daddy on a lovely walk with his truck. This included splashing and throwing rocks in various puddles from the rain earlier.
After dinner we just played at Grandma and Papa's. We knew we weren't going to do the fireworks this year, there's no way we could keep him up that late, plus the place that we normally go didn't have them due to budget constraints, it was nice not to have to worry about the time.

This morning we headed down to a park that's a few blocks away. It's got a great sand pit.
And climbing rock
