My camera, which is usually safely tucked away in my pocket or my purse, and always available for a quick photo or two (or ten) has turned up missing! We celebrated my 29 (as of tomorrow) year old husband's birthday on Sunday, where I'm sure I got some fantastic shots of him blowing out the candles, opening presents, Ethan wearing Papa's shirt as jammies, etc; and Monday morning, no more camera. It is either 1)floating around my mother's house, possibly tucked away into a crevice by two year old hands; 2)avoiding me, taking a vacation, at my house; or 3)lost for good, having fallen out of its safe place in the driveway or the Blockbuster parking lot, completely unnoticed by me. So, until I find it, or can part with enough $ to get a new one, enjoy some pics from a few days ago.

Garden of the Gods
I love this age. There are so many, many struggles that come with having a two year old. They test every ounce of patience that you didn't realize that you have. But then you have a day like we had today (which actually happen quite frequently) and you realize that its worth it. That a day like today makes you forget how hard some of the other days are. In other words, today was a great day. The weather was perfect (I have the sunburn to prove it). We only had to have one time out. And we were off together as a family.
We spent the morning gardening, washing cars, cleaning out the garage, and giving Milo a bath. After Ethan's nap we went and had lunch, he choose rice.
Then brought a whole bunch of unused stuff down to Springs Rescue Mission. After that we made our way over to Garden of the Gods, so much more then a tourist location.
We hiked up this path and at the top was not only this beautiful view, but a guy playing the bagpipes, weird but awesome I know!

Taste of Spring
Here in Colorado, we acknowledge the fact that spring is short, often confused with late winter. So we enjoy what we can of the warm weather when it comes, knowing that snow will most likely soon follow. Last week we had three days, three beautiful, warm days! Followed by two days of nearly freezing temperatures with a few scattered inches of snow. Here are a few pictures from our luxurious three days of spring:
Hope everyone had a wonderful week!

2 and a half of a half
So here we are, yes we're still here, at 2 years and 3 months (and some change).
Obsessed with Superman, although he finds Zaza to be a better Superman cape then his actual Superman cape, and robots.
And what Superman would go without his rain boots?
A Daddy's boy (this picture and the one above were both requests of Ethan)
An ever developing personality
Future baseball player?
A dare devil (not really, only on occasion, he is usually very reserved when it comes to preforming his own stunts)
Happy
A fan of trains, firetrucks, cars, pretty much anything with wheels
and a handyman
This is only a handfull of things that I would like to share with you (like his new favorite songs are Queen's "We Will Rock You" and "Handlebars" by the Flobots) but along with having an amazing two and a half of a half year old, let's be realistic, I have a 2 year old, he changes daily and I can't spend that much time going into detail.

Happy Easter!
I know you all think Easter isn't until next month, but we have an Easter egg already!
These pictures really do it no justice. Ethan fell into a door frame yesterday at Grandma's and is now sporting a black and blue goose egg with a cut down the middle. He's really a champ and if it wasn't visible you'd have no idea he hurt himself. I think its worse for us adults, just the fear when it happens (or you get the call at work that something happened), the caution we start using when playing and just having to see it and think "Man that's gotta hurt!"

Florida Vacation, Part 3
I know, I know enough of Florida already. I just find that life is a little busy lately and I have not been making time to finish up about our trip. But here we are, at the end of the vacation story.
After our Disney World vacation we had a day and a half left of vacation. The day after Disney was Valentine's Day, which we all spent feeling like we had Disney hangovers from hell. We all felt exhausted. My BFF, Christine, made a wonderful dinner for herself, Jamie, Michael and I and we were able to get in some really good quality time, while Grandma and Pops got to spend the evening with Ethan.
Our last day there, more like a 1/2 day, we had to leave for the airport around 3pm, was the nicest day. We hit the beach in the morning and had a blast making sand castles and chasing sea gulls
Then we had to say goodbye. It was a difficult goodbye.
The end.
